More attacks on Herman Cain
The news this week has been full of stories about an alleged sexual harassment by Herman Cain towards a female employee of the National Restaurant Association (NRA) during the time Cain was the head of the group. I say alleged because as of yet no woman has come forward and has been willing to step out in front of the cameras to substantiate the allegations. Meanwhile Cain has had a microphone shoved in his face continuously since the first whisper of this incident.
The NRA released a statement today that said, in part, that a woman had accused Herman Cain of harassment, a charge Cain denied. The NRA statement further stated that the association and the woman entered into an agreement, an agreement Cain was not a party to. There was also a confidentiality clause in the agreement and the NRA has agreed to waive its privacy in this matter but the accuser’s lawyer says the woman does not want to waive her rights to privacy.
In the meantime, Herman Cain, who never admitted to any wrong doing and who was not a party to the settlement between his accuser and his employer, must defend himself in the media. He has repeatedly denied harassing any employee but the media will not let it rest. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Apparently that doesn’t apply when the media is running with rumors.
One more bit of rant here is the obvious bias when it comes to media coverage of politicians. When Bill Clinton had NUMEROUS allegations of sexual improprieties (many of which were later proven to absolutely true), the media decided it “wasn’t news worthy.” So why are allegations against the front runner in the GOP race to replace Barack Obama news worthy?
There may be two answers to that question.
First, Herman Cain scares many Democrats because he can appeal to a section of the population that has historically always voted for Democrats: blacks and women.
Second, a reason I heard today is that the Republican Party is the party of family values. When it appears a Republican has done something along the lines of sexual harassment or cheated on a spouse, it is news. My question on this argument is “so therefore can we assume the Democratic Party is the non-family values party?”
Now it is time to quote Mahatma Gandhi again: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
GO, Herman, GO!
Oh, one more thing, those who like Herman are coming to his defense big time. This past week has been his biggest fundraising week ever.

Kentucky election for state-wide offices November 8

Voters in the Commonwealth of Kentucky will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 and will choose the leaders for the state for the next four years. In addition, the voters of Kentucky can also send a ‘message’ to Washington, D.C. as to what they think about the mess our country is in.
There are very clear and obvious differences in the candidates for Kentucky’s state-wide races. Let’s take a look:
For the office of Governor we have the current Governor, Steve Beshear, running against Republican State Senate Leader, David Williams. While David Williams may not be the most popular person in the state, it has been said over and over that he may be one of the most intelligent. Williams has a plan to address the three areas where he feels Beshear has failed the people of Kentucky: tax reform, education reform, and public union pension reform.
Kentucky needs tax reform to attract businesses. The state is losing businesses, industry, and jobs to the bordering states of Indiana and Tennessee. Tennessee has no state income tax; Indiana is about to become a right-to-work state and has abolished prevailing wage. David Williams’ plan abolishes the income tax and does away with the prevailing wage which drives up costs. Part two of this plan is to allow individual communities to become right-to-work zones thus attracting new businesses rather than driving them to other areas and states.
Kentucky also needs education reform. David Williams supports allowing students to attend neighborhood schools (as opposed to forced busing), vouchers, and charter schools. All three would afford parents and students choice and competition.
Finally, David Williams understands that public pensions and benefits must be privatized and more in line with private sector pensions and benefits to be sustainable. With pension reform, layoffs can be prevented and tax money can actually be used for something like the education of students as opposed to lining the pockets of union officials.
In all three areas, Steve Beshear has taken his cue from Washington and has chosen ‘winners and losers’ based on who is funding the Democrats re-election coffers. In addition, Beshear has lied to the citizens of the state when he said he had balanced the budget. What he did was use the Federal stimulus money until it dried up and then borrowed money from next year’s budget to make up the shortfall.
This election isn’t about “liking” the personality of Steve Beshear or not "liking" the personality of David Williams; it is a matter of “liking” Kentucky!
For Attorney General the voters of Kentucky have a clear choice between the incumbent, Jack Conway, who as the current attorney general has failed to stand up to the mandates from ObamaCare and EPA, and Todd P’Pool. Todd will protect Kentucky coal and the jobs associated with the coal industry and he will file suit against ObamaCare on behalf of the citizens of Kentucky.
The candidates for Secretary of State are polar opposites. The Republican candidate, Bill Johnson, wants to strengthen our system of elections by requiring picture IDs at the polls. His opponent, Democratic candidate, Alison Grimes, doesn’t think proving identity isn’t that important and even goes as far as saying that an address should not be a requirement for registration. This policy of Grimes is actually a policy funded by George Soros who is also funding SOS elections across the United States in an effort to undermine our country and our way of life.
For State Auditor the choice is between a political insider, Democrat Adam Edelen – a former member of the Beshear administration, and John Kemper, an independent thinker who will work to protect tax dollars from waste, fraud, and abuse.
For Treasurer the race is between Republican K.C. Crosbie and Democrat Todd Hollenbach. K.C. responded to an independent survey of candidates with Conservative answers such as ‘no’ to expanded gaming and for supporting indexed-caps on tuition increases at the state colleges; Hollenbach chose not to participate in the survey.
And finally for Commissioner of Agriculture the choice is between a man whose last name happens to be Farmer and a man who is an actual farmer. Democrat Bob Farmer is a comedian who, in his stand-up routines, makes fun of the people of Kentucky while Republican James Comer is a fifth generation farmer, former State President of Future Farmers of America, and a man who knows what it takes to lead the one of state’s largest departments.
With this knowledge, it is time to do what is best for Kentucky and elect Conservative, smart, and fiscally responsible citizens to the state’s highest offices – not only for Kentucky’s future but also for the future of the country!

Fun with the younger crowd
Oh,,the shame.....
MY DADDY IS A DANCER . .
.One day a fourth-grade
teacher asked the children what their fathers
did for a living......All the
typical answers came up - fireman, mechanic,
businessman, salesman..
. and so
forth. However, little Justin was
being uncharacteristically quiet, so when
the teacher prodded him about his father,
he replied, "My father ' s an exotic
dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his
clothes to music
in front of other men and they put money in
his underwear. Sometimes, if the
offer is really good, he will go home with some
guy and stay with him all night for
money. “The teacher,
obviously shaken by
this statement, hurriedly set the other
children to work on some exercises and took little
Justin aside to ask him, "Is that
really true about your
father? “No," the boy
said, "He works
for the Democratic
National Committee and helped to get Obama
elected, but it ' s too embarrassing to say that
in front of the other kids."

An Intelligent Quote--very Astute
Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can
understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic:
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of
entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency.
It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama
Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a
depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a
mere symptom of what ails America.
Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast
confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a
multitude of fools who made him their President."

PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE ---Pinhead
PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE is owned by Peter Lewis: Who is he? Read this.
VERY IMPORTANT INFO TO PASS TO EVERYONE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS COUNTRY.
You've seen and smiled at the Progressive Insurance TV commercials.
Well, you're about to learn the rest of the story:
PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE
You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the ditsy actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America.
Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, a group that seems bent on destroying what's left of America's Judeo-Christian heritage.
Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and American Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the socialist left. His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine.
Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system which is targeting television shows on Fox News.
Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) that he applies to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He's banking on no one finding out who he is. So, STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends.

All of a sudden I don't care for their funny commercials!
This will be an interesting turn of events .....bring it on!!
Ever since Obama assumed the office of President, critics have hammered him on a number of Constitutional issues. Critics have complained that much, if not all of Obama's major initiatives run headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the federal government. Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political ads during the time of an election. The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not true,' when Obama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court's ruling. As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal government. Obama publicly declared war on the court , even as he blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, and so on. And it is no accident that the one swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until 'Obama is gone.' Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven. A ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could potentially cripple the Administration. Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the
intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle. In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can 'opt out.'
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This
information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut , while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii ..
And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics,
nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ suing the state of Arizona . That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group was caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls. A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against Blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies. This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling--that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE ON YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS LIST!!! THE DICTATOR MUST GO ~~

The New Jack and Jill
Here’s how it happened. First, the IRS took half her water in taxes. Then the Department of Justice took her bucket because it might be made out of illegal wood from India. Then the DNR fined Jill for disrupting the habitat of some creek guppy no one ever heard of.
The NLRB ruled Jill could only fetch water in Washington State and had to pay union guys to do it. TSA did a full cavity search and a double pat down of her mommy parts; that had nothing to do with the bucket of water, they just get off on that stuff. When she gasped, the EPA fined her for an excessive carbon dioxide emission.
Then Bruce and Lance named Jill in a class-action lawsuit because she got to inherit her husband’s bucket of water while they couldn’t even get married. She was banned from the Labor Day parade in Wausau because Jack never joined the water-fetchers union and voted Republican once. The USDA had her detained when a tip came in that she might have raw milk in that bucket.
President Obama decided Jill had more water than she needed, and said we would all be better off with him “spreadin’ the wet around”. Joe Biden later claimed he hydrated or moistened over 2 million Americans. One solar panel company took 365 million gallons of government stimulus water and then moved to China. Al Gore made a Power Point movie that showed Jill boiling polar bears in her bucket on coal-fired stove. He made billions off the fakery.
An angry mob stalked Jill wherever she went because she wouldn’t buy their water, shouting “shame, shame, shame” and drumming for months. When she suggested they could just Segway up the hill and fetch a pail for themselves like she did, the Congressional Black Caucus called her a racist and Maxine Waters told her to go to hell. Jimmy Hoffa said he would take sons of bitches like her out; she was pretty sure he didn’t mean on a date.
Afraid for her life, Jill went to buy a handgun but had to wait five days. Then she found out she could not carry it in her purse in Wisconsin until November anyway. While she counted the days down, a teen flashmob beat and then pistol-whipped her after the state fair. “Wow – how’d you guys get your training and permits already?” she marveled, spitting teeth. Jill was a little naïve about criminals and guns.
Meanwhile Ben Bernanke started printing trillions of new bucket-o-water redemption certificates, and Jill’s bucket of real water shot up in price from 300 certificates per fluid ounce to over 1,900 of the bogus Fed water-coupons. Ron Paul and Peter Schiff said “toldya” while Michael Moore made a movie about Jill’s obscene water-wealth entitled “Koch Whore.” When Jack Jr. got suspended from school for calling some gay kid a “teabagger”, Jill wondered why all those liberal commentators on TV still had jobs.
And then Jill started to notice that fewer and fewer people were hiking up the hill to fetch their own heavy pails of water, while more and more people sat at the bottom of the hill, demanding government quench their thirst. After a time, they did not even know where the water came from; and they did not care. They just wanted more; they said they were entitled to it.
They elected politicians who promised them free water. Her government blamed the rich water-fetchers like Jill for the thirst of those who sat at the bottom of the hill in poverty. That same government took and more of Jill’s water away from her in taxes; they forced her to pay fetching permits; they regulated her route; they mandated airbags for her buckets; they forced her to buy insurance she did not want; they invaded other countries and sent her the bill.
And they did not stop at taking her property. They told her where she could send her kids to school and what they must be taught. They made her pay a union in order to fetch buckets of water for herself. They told her what she could eat, drive, smoke, own, sell, buy, wear, drink, study, build, party with, heat with, light with, listen to, watch, flush, shoot, visit, record, say, write, and marry.
They told her she could not be trusted to make those decisions for herself; and they built new prisons to hold her if she made choices they did not like. One Party told her this is what democracy looks like; the other Party couldn’t even come up with a catchy slogan for it.
Both Parties buried the nation in debt so deep that neither Jack Jr. nor Jack III would ever see it paid back. They spent Jill’s money on themselves and their friends; then they had the nerve to call her greedy and heartless for wanting to keep what she earned for herself and her children.
And then one day, Jill had a moment of clarity. She read somewhere that liberty is the absence of government in choice; that government is the absence of liberty in choice; that tyranny is the absence of choice in government. The dairy-queen light bulb finally went off for Jill.
She saw tyranny for the first time in the good intentions of those who would take her liberty for her own good. She never asked them to save her, and they never asked if they could. Jill discovered they did not care about her. She remembered that her rights were endowed to her by her Creator, not created by any legislature. She realized that they only took as much liberty from her as she gave away.
Jill reclaimed her liberty. She made liberty her first principle - that is what it means to be a libertarian. Did she live happily ever after? No, that only happens in fairy tales and in the imaginations of empty heads who believe the lies of politicians who promise happiness they cannot deliver.
But she did live free ever after; she owned herself. And so should you.
Food for thought and a reason to defeat the gun control nannies
Here’s an interesting side bar.
After the Japanese decimated our fleet in Pearl Harbor Dec 7, 1941,
They could have sent their troop ships and carriers directly to California
To finish what they started.
The prediction from our Chief of Staff was we would not be able to stop a
Massive invasion until they reached the Mississippi River .
Remember, we had a 2 million man army and war ships…...
All fighting the Germans.
So, why did they not invade?
After the war, the remaining Japanese generals and admirals were asked that question.
Their answer…...
They know that almost every home had guns and the Americans knew how to use them.
The world's largest army... America's hunters!
I had never thought about this....
A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and
Arrived at a striking conclusion:
There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin..
Allow me to restate that number.
Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the eighth
Largest army in the world.
More men under arms than in Iran ..
More than in France and Germany combined.
These men deployed to the woods of a single American state to hunt
With firearms, and no one was killed.
That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of
Pennsylvania and Michigan 's 700,000 hunters All of whom have now returned home.
Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally
Establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone
Would comprise the largest army in the world.
The point?
America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower.
Hunting -- it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security.
That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.
Food for thought when next we consider gun control

Just one reason we need immigration reform

JOBS! With the United States unemployment levels nearing 10%, we can’t afford to give jobs to illegal immigrants.
According to NumbersUSA.org, around 22 million American workers who want a full-time job can’t find one. This counts the officially unemployed, those involuntarily in part-time jobs, and those who recently dropped off the official unemployment list. Just this past week, the Obama administration said they will start granting work permits to illegal immigrants. This will, obviously, negatively affect those millions of unemployed and underemployed U.S. citizens.
As to the argument that immigrants typically accept jobs Americans are unwilling to do, NumbersUSA points out that those unemployed are from all levels of job skills but a disproportionate number of those looking for work are in the lower skilled jobs that are primarily taken by foreign workers. In addition, NumbersUSA said that less than 10% of ALL foreign workers enter the country with any regard to their skills or whether the job market needs their skills.
From a personal perspective, a job doing yard work for us, typically filled by a high school student, was applied for by several adult men (and one woman) eager to find any work. Many of the applicants were looking for yet another part-time job to supplement other part-time jobs they had going. A middle aged Army vet who was unwilling to accept government hand-outs as a way to get by was eventually hired; he also has a couple of other part-time jobs.
While legal immigration has been a part of the history of the United States from the very beginning of this great nation and while immigrants have helped form our country, recent trends in the flow of immigration have changed dramatically. From 1776-1976, legal immigration averaged around 250,000 people per year. Since 1990, according to NumbersUSA, around 1 million legal immigrants a year and more than 800,000 illegal aliens a year settle permanently in the United States. The job force cannot possibly sustain this influx of workers.
Who is most affected by the increase in immigration?
- Blacks – Forty years after Congress passed Civil Rights laws, the lack of job opportunities for the Black Americans without skills is disproportionate to the general population with an unemployment rate of about 40% for black American men between the ages of 18 and 65.
- Low-skilled workers – Occupations such as those in meatpacking, dry-walling, other construction trades, and hospitality jobs that once paid decent money have collapsed into near-poverty or poverty levels with a disproportionate number of those jobs filled by foreign workers.
- Youth – The unemployment rate for Americans ages 16-17 is 34%; for Hispanic teens it is 48%; and for Black American teenagers it is 60%.
We need reform and we need it yesterday. Let your voice be heard and tell your elected officials we need immigration reform!
