The Little Red Hen (version 2012)(from a friend)"Who will help me plant my wheat?" asked the little red hen.
"Not I," said the cow.
"Not I," said the duck.
"Not I," said the pig.
"Not I," said the goose.
"Then I will do it by myself." She planted her crop and the wheat grew and ripened.
"Who will help me reap my wheat?" asked the little red hen.
"Not I," said the duck.
"Out of my classification," said the pig.
"I'd lose my seniority," said the cow.
"I'd lose my unemployment compensation," said the goose.
"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen, and so she did.
"Who will help me bake the bread?" asked the little red hen.
"That would be overtime for me," said the cow.
"I'd lose my welfare benefits," said the duck.
"I'm a dropout and never learned how," said the pig.
"If I'm to be the only helper, that's discrimination," said the goose.
"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen.
She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see. They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share but the little red hen said, "No, I shall eat all five loaves."
"Excess profits!" cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)
"Capitalist leech!" screamed the duck. ( Barbara Boxer)
"I demand equal rights!" yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)
The pig just grunted in disdain. (Harry Reid)
And they all painted 'Unfair!' picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.
Then the farmer (Obama) came He said to the little red hen, "You must not be so greedy."
"But I earned the bread," said the little red hen.
"Exactly," said Barack the farmer. "That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants. But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle."
And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, "I am grateful, for now I truly understand."
But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread because she joined the 'party' and got her bread free. And all the Democrats smiled. 'Fairness' had been established.
Individual initiative had died but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared so long as there was free bread that 'the rich' were paying for.

Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs.
Hillary got $8 million for hers.
That's $20 million for the memories from two people, who for eight years repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.

Five of the Best Sentences for Today...
Unfortunately, most voters don't know this.
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

The hypocrisy of feminism

Many feminists, especially those who went to college in the 1960s and 1970s, like to feel a bit superior to those stay-at-home Moms who chose nurturing their children over a high-powered career.
However, many of the feminists from that era, if they are truly honest, will admit that they went to college primarily for an MRS degree. Sure, many of them finished a real degree and got a diploma but for many the goal was not a piece of paper declaring them graduated but a piece of paper declaring them “taken care of for life” by a successful man.
So those feminist women who got their Bachelor of Fine Arts and considered themselves educated settled in to raise their children – or have the nanny or au pair raise the kids. Sometimes the feminist would do something with that Fine Arts degree so they could “contribute to society.” Maybe she even (self)published a book of poetry she wrote while lounging by the pool at the country club (while the kids were being supervised at Day Camp). Perhaps she would occasionally review a book for the local society column in the newspaper. She was, of course, still a feminist even though someone else was picking up the tab for everything.
Years later the feminist woman gets involved in politics. Looking around for a target, she spies the stay-at-home Mom whose career took a back seat to what she felt was her calling – raising children (maybe even with a twinge of jealously). The woman who chose raising kids over a “real” job is denigrated and dismissed a less of a person because of that choice.
But here lies the hypocrisy – the attacks from feminists towards stay-at-home Moms are only directed to those who hold Conservative values! On the flip side of this coin is the criticism of Moms who decide to mother and also hold down full time jobs but then are only criticized if they are Conservative!
Two examples:
- Ann Romney chose to stay home and raise five children. Recently she has been criticized for “not working a day in her life” by a (female) Democratic strategist. Anyone who has ever raised children knows that it is work.
- A few years ago, some of the same critics attacked Sarah Palin, also mother of five children. The talk then was “How can she be the Governor of Alaska and be a good mother at the same time?”
The bottom line is very obvious: If one is a Conservative, one can do no right; if one is a Liberal, every choice is perfect.

Putting sports into perspective

The NCAA College basketball Final Four games are here. Fans across the country will be cheering for their favorite teams. There is nothing wrong with that if it is all kept in perspective.
Sporting events, unless you are a participant, are entertainment. Whatever the outcome, life will go on.
The vicious language one hears from every side of fandom is just wrong. How can you “hate” this team or that team? Hate should be reserved for those who actually do you harm, say an ex-spouse. Hate should be reserved for crimes like mass murder. Hate should be an emotion for only the vilest of deeds. Sports should not warrant hate.
Also, sports do not have heroes. Heroes are policemen and women, EMS personnel, firefighters, and soldiers. Heroes are people who put their lives on the line to save the lives of others. Unless a sports figure actually puts him or herself in harm’s way to protect someone else, hero would not apply regardless of the ‘game changing play.’
Before anyone jumps all over my case that “I just don’t understand sports,” let me tell you a bit about myself. I grew up a sports fan. I follow sports of all kinds and can quote you stats and rosters from just about every sport (well, maybe not soccer or rugby). I was raised in an era before Title IX so my sports involvement as a young person was not participatory. Since there were no girls’ teams, I did what I could to be a part games: I kept team stats and I became official scorekeeper at many events. I do know sports.
I also understand team loyalty. I have favorite teams and I have teams I would rather not root for. I wear my “lucky” shirt on game day and I attend games. However, I don’t “hate” any team. Even teams I don’t root for are comprised of people – mostly young people just trying to better themselves. How can I “hate” that?
So regardless of the outcome of the Final Four games, life will go on. There is a huge list of things that could be worse than your favorite team losing like:
- Having a car wreck
- Losing your house to a tornado
- Having cancer
- Losing a job
- Being homeless
- Losing a spouse
- Losing your legs protecting your children
- Losing a child

What others see plainly, we often ignore.
What others see plainly, we often ignore.
* Here's something to think about. *
I remember asking dad about Castro when I was about 9 years old. I asked,
"Is Castro a good guy or bad?"
Dad said...he couldn't tell!! This was about 1955. We were living in
Louisiana ...at the time. Dad was in the Army there.
Cuba was fairly close and in the news a lot. The Cubans were asking the same
question!
Ike was president.
This past July, we had the pleasure of sharing a summer barbecue with a
refugee from Cuba . Our dinner conversation was starkly different than most.
This refugee came to the United States as a young boy in the early 1960's.
His family was more fortunate than most, as they were able to bring a
suitcase...and $100 when they fled Castro's newly formed revolutionary
paradise.
Our dinner consisted of all-American fare: hamburgers, potato salad,
watermelon and fresh ears of sweet corn. This is a menu shared with family
and friends nationwide...while celebrating the birth of our beloved America
....on the Fourth of July.
We began with a simple discussion about our country, and the direction it
has taken since Barack Obama came to power. We shared the usual complaints
about the sour economy and liberal social engineering emanating from the
rulers in Washington.
But then he said it. The sentence came naturally. I assume it was unplanned.
But it carried the weight of a freight train. "You know when Castro took
power, none of us knew he was a Communist".
We sat stunned. He continued, "Yes, we all thought he was a patriot, a
nationalist. Before the revolution he didn't sound like a radical."
The comparison at this point was easy, and I interjected, "You mean just
like Barack Obama?"
He responded; "Yes, just like Barack Obama."
He continued, "We were all shocked as the government just continued to grab
more power. First they said the revolution is over, so please turn in your
guns. We all complied."
I remember my uncle saying after it started; “ Castro will only nationalize
some of the big industries. He will never come and take our family hardware
store!! ” But that is exactly what happened. Castro started with the sugar
mills and the large industries, but they eventually came and knocked on the
door of our family hardware store. My family had run this store for
generations. They said we now own the hardware store, you work for us. And
that nice, large four-bedroom home you own...it is now our property also,
and...you can move yourself and five children into two rooms of the house,
because others are moving in with you."
The lesson learned from this discussion, is a lesson most Americans refuse
to hear. Political leaders can lie about their agenda and once in
office...they can take totally unexpected turns.
If you had asked us three years ago if we thought General Motors would be
nationalized, we would have never believed it. We could never contemplate a
country where the rule of law, the most fundamental building block of a
justice society...would be evaporating, just like it did in Castro's Cuba in
the early 1960's.
But the news of injustice keeps increasing. Black Panthers are not charged
with wrong doing by the U.S. Department of Justice...because their crimes
are against whites. The bondholders of GM are stripped of their
assets...without due process by the government! Governmental leaders are
bribed in full daylight...only to have all investigation of the crimes
stifled...by the Attorney General.
The U.S. borders are over run with crime and illegal activity, and the
leaders in D.C. act as if it is important to protect the lawbreakers...while
the innocent are killed and over run . When local communities attempt to
enforce the law, they are ridiculed...and threatened as racists and bigots .
They are sued by the very administration...entrusted with enforcing the law
..
Without the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution is a sham!! Without the rule
of law, our beloved America is swiftly becoming a country where only the
well connected and politically powerful will be safe. As Michelle Malkin has
so eloquently explained in her recent book... a culture of corruption has
replaced honest government .
The only way this problem will be fixed, is by massive citizen action. All
honest citizens that want to be treated equally, must come together...and
demand that the favoritism, the bribes, the uneven enforcement of law...end
now!! And yes, it can happen here .
Wake up...don't be silent..that is all he needs....

There is justice and then Politics....
Subject: from one Marine to another
MAJOR HASAN vs SSGT ROBERT BALES
After reading the headlines about the US soldier who shot up
Afghanistan civilians, I couldn't help noticing an irony.
There is all this clamor (SecDef) to try this guy quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury.
Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while screaming Allahu akbar, still hasn't stood trial, and they are still debating whether
he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive:
Slay as many infidels as possible. So we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he must be executed immediately.
But this Muslim psychiatrist who was stateside in a nice safe
office all day murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and they try to argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome, from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience.
Two and a half years later, they still haven't tried the murderous bastard.

Should we go the Dutch Way ?
Should we go the Dutch Way ?
The Netherlands, where six per cent of the population is now Muslim, is scrapping multiculturalism:
The Dutch government says it will abandon the long-standing model of multiculturalism that has encouraged Muslim immigrants to create a parallel society within the Netherlands.
A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads:
"The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people.
In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role.
With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society.
The letter continues:
"A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens. It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands...
The new integration policy will place more demands on immigrants. For example, immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language, and the government will take a tougher approach to immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law.
The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner;
"It is not the government's job to integrate immigrants.". The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress.
More specifically, the government will impose a ban on face-covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013.
Holland has done that whole liberal thing, and realised -
Maybe too late - that creating a nation of tribes will kill the nation itself.
READER'S NOTE
Muslim immigrants leave their countries of birth because of civil and political unrest CREATED BY THE VERY NATURE OF THEIR CULTURE.
Countries like Holland and Australia have an established way of life that actually works, so why embrace the unworkable?
If a person does not wish to accept another culture, the answer is simple;
Stay in a their native country.
This gives a whole new meaning to the term; 'Dutch Courage' There's a whole lot of truth here!!!

How to guarantee Obama a second term

A few helpful hints if you want more of the same:
- Continue to divide the Republican Party with negative ads.
- Divide the independents with constant harping on social issues. Although important, birth control and other such talk is best left to the individual and should not be a part of the general discussion. This is too divisive.
- Ignore the economy.
- Narrow focus to try to find the ‘perfect’ candidate and refuse to back anyone else.
- Try to argue with the Liberals on social issues.
How to help make Obama a one-term President:
- FOCUS on the economy! This is the one area where the Democrats are completely vulnerable. The reason they keep changing the subject is because they know this.
- Explain we cannot continue to spend more than we take in.
- Explain also that when you tax companies that manufacture products, those companies will pass along that tax with higher cost of those products to the consumer. In other words, a tax on businesses is just another tax on citizens.
- Explain how if we have one-half of the population living on the other half, soon the half that pays taxes will start to ask, “Why me? Why should I work hard to support the dead beats?”
- Explain why a bigger government does not benefit the citizens but the politicians.

The Plot Thickens...and sickens...more about Obummer...
Google: Stolen SSN 042-68-4425 and all kinds of articles appear.
WOW, read this, it's short - very interesting.
Stolen SSN# 042-68-4425
An intensive investigation has revealed the identity of the man whose
Social Security Number (SSN) is being used by President Obama: Was Jean
Paul Ludwig , who was born in France in 1890, immigrated to the United
States in 1924, and was assigned SSN 042-68-4425 ( Obama's current
SSN) rec'd on or about March 1977.
Ludwig lived most of his adult life in Connecticut . Because of that,
his SSN begins with the digits 042, which are among only a select few
reserved for Connecticut residents.
Obama never lived or worked in that state! Therefore, there is no
reason on earth for his SSN to start with the digits 042. None
whatsoever!
Now comes the best part! Ludwig spent the final months of his life in
Hawaii , where he died.
Conveniently, Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, worked
part-time in the Probate Office in the Honolulu Hawaii Courthouse, and
therefore had access to the SSNs of deceased individuals.
The Social Security Administration was never informed of Ludwig's
death, and because he never received Social Security benefits there
were no benefits to stop and therefore, no questions were ever raised.
The suspicion, of course, is that Dunham, knowing her grandson was not
a U.S. Citizen, either because he was born in Kenya or became a citizen
of Indonesia upon his adoption by Lolo Soetoro simply scoured the
probate records until she found someone who died who was not receiving
Social Security benefits, and selected Mr.Ludwigs Connecticut SSN for
Obama.
Just wait until Trump gets past the birth certificate and onto the
issue of Barry O's use of a stolen SSN. You will see leftist heads
exploding, because they will have no way of defending Obama.
Although many Americans do not understand the meaning of the term
"natural born" there are few who do not understand that if you are
using someone else's SSN it is a clear indication of fraud.
Let's all get this information out to everybody on our mailing lists.
If the voters of this great nation can succeed in bringing this lying,
deceitful, cheating, corrupt, impostor to justice it will be the
biggest and best news in decades for our country and the world.
"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will
herald the end of the republic." Benjamin Franklin
If you can just say "oh well; ho hum" after reading this you get
what you deserve.

Isn't it ironic...
Isn't It Ironic? The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.
Hmmm...is there a lesson here somewhere ????

Are we all about to be just like California?

From the L. A. Times:
1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal aliens working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of people on the most-wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L. A. Are Spanish speaking.
10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 4.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County .)
(All 10 of the above statements are from the Los Angeles Times)
Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration.
29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.
This is only one state. California is worse than other states but it will probably happening everywhere soon. If this doesn't open your eyes, nothing will...and the Nancy Pelosi crowd wants them all to become voters!
Economics 101 – Socialism is a philosophy of failure

Below are possibly the five best sentences ever written on the subject of economics. Unfortunately, most voters don't know nor care about the simple basics of economics and are only concerned with self.

A little sports analogy for politicians

As a political junkie and also a sports fan, I find it just plain wrong to concentrate criticisms on an opponent rather than concentrating on one’s own strengths.
With Super Bowl XLVI this upcoming weekend and NCAA basketball in full swing, I see a steady stream of tearing apart and trash talking any team other than one’s favorite. How about just cheering for your favorites? It just makes one look so foolish to constantly bad mouth an opponent. It would seem that your favorite team has no talents on which you could brag. Tell us about the amazing arm your quarterback has. Tell us your defensive tackle can take out the best. Tell us about those great shooting guards. Rattle of statistics about three-point and free-throw successes.
The same goes for politicians. Rather than endless ads where opponents are torn apart and thrown to the wolves, why don’t those seeking an elected office just tell us how they plan on fixing things? Rather than digging up dirt and minutia from decades past, how about telling us your background and how that background will make you a great leader? Tell us how you will fix the economy. Tell us your ideas on foreign policy. Tell us how what we must do to start to deal with illegal immigration now and how we will address it in the future. Tell us what your energy policy is – does it include “all the above approach” of drilling, alternate energy, and coal?
Give us your plan for our future.

Who gives to charity?

I read an interesting piece on this subject written by Arthur C. Brooks, a professor of public administration at Syracuse University. In his research he examined charitable giving across America.
Here are some of his findings:
• American people are generous
• People who donate money tend to be happier than people who don’t
• The working poor tend to give a larger share of their earnings than people of higher income
• The non-working poor (i.e., state-subsidized income) tend be give the least to charity
• Tangible evidence suggest that charitable giving makes people prosperous, healthy, and happy
• Giving empowers people because they feel like they are part of the solution
• Conservatives are 18% more likely to donate blood than are liberals
• Those who give money are more likely to also volunteer their time to charities
• Of the top 25 states where people give an above average percent of their income, 24 of those states were red states in the 2004 election (the election prior to the publishing of this book)
• Religious people are more likely to give to charity and give about four times as much including non-religious type charities
• Conservatives tend to give more than liberals even though conservatives tend to make less money than liberals
So much has been made of Mitt Romney’s wealth these past few weeks. He most recently released financial disclosures reveal that he gives about 15% of his annual income to charity. Barrack Obama gave only one percent of his income to charity during the same reporting period.

I like this girl!!!!
Put me in charge . . .
Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.
Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks?
You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.
In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”
If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.
AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.
Now, if you have the guts - PASS IT ON, FAR AND WIDE!!!

Answer Below:
Sorry. This was a trick quiz. All of the correct answers are the same
person. Each of these quotes are directly from President Barack Obama.
And now you know why he brings his teleprompter with him everywhere he
goes ...even when talking to a 6th grade class.
And some members of the media continue to insist he is "The smartest
man ever elected to the Presidency".
